After you book, TidyCal passes your name, email address, and scheduled date and time to our confirmation page, hosted on Cloudflare. The page uses those details to display your booking confirmation. It removes them from the address bar before external scripts run, and we exclude our marketing and session-replay trackers from this page. When AI-assisted preparation is enabled, our server checks TidyCal for a booking matching your email address. We then send your name, email address, and company name, if provided, to OpenAI to generate a brief shown on the confirmation page. One model uses your email domain and the information you provide; another uses web search to find public professional information about you and your company and suggest processes we could automate. If your email address does not identify a company, the page asks you for its name. This research is intended to cover professional information, such as your job title, company, industry, and business systems. It is not intended to collect health information or other private personal details. AI-generated information and suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. Completed results are kept in your browser's session storage for the current tab. OpenAI processes the submitted information and generated responses under its own data controls; provider retention is separate from this browser storage. OpenAI's standard API controls include retention of abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days, subject to exceptions, and stored Responses API data for at least 30 days unless different controls apply.
